Le Quotidien

For my final third year project, I chose to illustrate a silent book called 'Le Quotidien,' which translates to 'The Everyday Life.' The themes of this book are; solitude, reverie, and peace. I wanted to convey the beauty, and positive side of solitude, and how spending time alone can be such a freeing thing. 

The book spans across a year; with the first three pages being spring, the second three summer, the third three autumn, and the last three winter. We see the same character doing relatively mundane things alone, but completely content with it.
